Taco'bout The Taco Theory

I have always loved tacos. I have always loved working with children. I have always enjoyed movies and videos. I absolutely love teaching. Why not put them all together, right!?

In 2020, when we were stuck inside and school was done virtually, my children and I decided to spend our time making videos. It was a fun way to spend time together, to bide our time, and to connect with my students. Now we would like to share them with you.

Learning should be fun. Learning should be life-long. Learning should be with others.

My name is Daniel Burbank. I am currently a 5th Grade Teacher. I grew up in many different places and had the opportunity to even live overseas for several years (Scotland and Spain). I graduated from N.C. State University with a degree in Business Management (Marketing) and International Studies of Latin America. Out of college I began working for a Real Estate company while I figured out what I wanted to do. 12 years later I decided it was teaching. I have always loved teaching but it was always something I did on the side. I began my teaching career teaching English to international students. I have since taught 4th and 5th grade. My family is very important to me and as you can see in the videos we have a lot of fun. My wife is a huge support and usually helps with off camera tasks. My kids are willing to jump in and in my opinion they make these videos what they are. Our faith is important to us and we believe that people are valuable.

We love the mountains, eating tacos, and making memories. Thanks for taking the time to visit us here and we hope what we do is an encouragement to you.

Never stop learning!
